OK, das scheint mir einfaches Halbieren wirklich nicht zu passen. Andererseits scheint mir das Startkapital dann auch recht hoch zu sein ;)

Ja, aber bei dem Startkapital sollte man auch bedenken, dass so ziemlich jeder Char n Pferd haben dürfte/sollte, was ja schon mehr als die hälfte des Startkapitals "auffrisst", mit Sattel, etc. bleibt am Ende echt nicht viel übrig. Im prinzip muss mit den 250$ der gesamte Besitz des Chars gekauft werden.

Das Startkapital soll wohl für Ausrüstung und ein Pferd reichen. In den meisten Settings muß ein Anfänger-SC zu Fuß gehen, im Westen sieht das anders aus.  2500$ und 7500$ sind imho ok.

Das Einzige, wofür ich persönlich reich oder stinkreich nehmen würde, wäre, wenn ich in Sachen Smith&Robards mal richtig auf die Kacke hauen wollte.

Und da gehen dann durchaus über kurz oder lang auch 30.000 $ weg  o:)


Aber ich habe die beiden Talente noch nie im Spiel gesehen - Geld haben und am Arsch der Welt auch was ran kriegen, was man kaufen kann, sind zwei Paar Schuhe  ;)

Yep, as the rules say, it has to fit the setting and be the equivalent income (if appropriate).

The yearly income sounds fine as to how it would be acquired; that's going to probably depend on what the source of the income is defined as.  It could just be wired money or it could represent ownership in a business which might have more seasonal income.  A ranch for instance might be dependent on a yearly cattle drive for income.
