I guess I forgot to describe spirit realm items. The idea is similar to the elven items in Tolkien. They're just normal things like tools, kitchenware, clothes, etc. but made by spirits in the Spirit Realm. So they're nicer than anything made by mortals, and maybe seem to have "mystic" qualities without being magic items per se.As for ranged attacks, I actually ran it as making multiple attack rolls when we did the play test, but I think using the two-weapon fighting rule makes sense, too. So the "official" answer would be make multiple separate attack rolls. But the author is now considering the optional rule for use in his own games!
