So, ich hab's getan, ich hab mir neben dem kostenlosen auch die 4 kostenpflichtigen Setups gekauft. 3$ bzw 4$ pro Stück war ja echt nicht die Welt.
Hier die Szenario-Aufhänger:
Broken Hearts: Two star-crossed spirits have started to haunt the town of Briar Gulch and it’s only a matter of time before they tear the town — and perhaps everyone in it — apart.
The spirits have brought a storm down upon Briar Gulch that threatens to level it. Every night the winds grow stronger and the town’s structures grow weaker. Signs are ripped off buildings, tombstones fall in Boot Hill, and grown men can barely walk down the tempest-tossed streets.
Where did these spirits come from? Do they have something to do with a pair of lovers who died there a year ago? Can they be laid to rest before the town is destroyed by their vengeful force?
Dr. Tregan's Collateral Trouble: In this Tall Tale, Doctor Tregan has been abducted in the dead of night by bandits. His shop has been left unattended. And it’s only a matter of time before his trail runs cold. The town of Buford Junction relies on the good doctor’s work to keep things like generators, tractors, and weapons humming. Left unattended, the shop could fall into the wrong hands and some of his inventions could wreak havoc on the citizens of Buford Junction. Only a few stalwart men and women have what it takes to rescue Doctor Tregan and see that justice is done.
Who has taken him? Is it old creditors come to collect? Or nefarious outlaws with unkind plans? Will the doctor be killed once he builds them a fantastic machine? Or is he a hostage held for some enormous ransom? Perhaps he’s just a pawn in some sick game.
Yukon Terror: A group of strangers have taken shelter in an Alaskan cabin on the edge of civilization. Outside, cold winds slam against the shelter while those inside must figure out who can be trusted…
The northern frontier is home to more than just cold and ice. Unique beasts and abominations have made their home in the frozen north, some hiding for centuries, aided by the natural camouflage of the tundra and wilderness. Some in fact, may have taken the form of travelers and strangers coming in from the cold…
How long can the storm continue? Can anything survive it? Can the group endure the storm and each other? When the storm finally breaks and the sun shines on the cabin, who will be left alive? Who among them is not what they seem?
Trail of Darkness: A group of men and women have recently lost their friend Caleb at the hands of a black magician and cult leader. Defying the odds and any sense of self-preservation, the group has sworn to avenge their fallen friend. Only problem is, they don’t know who the magician is or where he’s gone.
Travelling over hundreds of miles of open terrain, hunting down every clue imaginable, the group has finally secured one solid piece of information about the killer. He is now living in the small settlement of Bell Creek, on the edge of the silver mines in Northern Nevada. Apparently, he’s disguised himself as a holy man there and is living among normal folk, along with key members of his cult.
But how long will he stay there before moving on to his next con? Can the heroes track him down and exact justice? Or will it be cold hard vengeance?
Ghost Train: A group of outlaws have recently heard of a train coming through Bottleneck Falls loaded with ghost rock — not to mention a high-stakes floating poker game. Armed to the teeth with guards, the train has never been successfully robbed. But that won’t stop these desperados from launching their plan.
Ghost Train plays differently from any of the previous Tall Tales. For starters, the players only have some of the information available at the onset. Secondly, there are three different ways to play this one, which means there are a lot more set-up options. Thirdly, there are new rules for resolving conflict, a Cliffhanger, and a new ending chart for each story type. Finally, the PCs can be the bad guys in this one if they want to.
Get ready for the fastest, wildest Tall Tale ever.
