Vale waan Takis:
Problem das ich bei der Schrottkiste nicht ins BIOS komme  >:(

(und bitte erzähle mir niemand einfach während des startens "Entf"-drücken glaubt mir das habe ich probiert... mit gedrücktem "F1" lande ich in so ner art "ersatz-bios" in dem man aber absolut nix ändern kann  :,,()

Vielleicht nützt ja jemandem der BlueScreen was:
Der schwere Ausnahmefehler 0E ist an adresse 0028:C0005257 in der VXD-Datei VMM(01) + 00004257 aufgetreten ....  :P

Suro:
a) Habe ich in meinem eigenen BIOS nicht viel zu DMA gefunden, musst du wohl woander suchen.
b) haben viele Mainboards unterschiedliche Setup-Befehle, bei mir ist BIOS Setup z.B. F2.
c) schau ich grad nochmal, ob ich was anderes finde.

Versuch mal:

To change to DMA mode, you must reboot your system. Save all your work, and close any applications you have opened.

From the 'Start Menu' select: Settings --> Control Panel.

Double-click on the System icon.

Click the Device Manager tab.

Expand the list of Disk Drives, and double-click on the hard drive you'd like to run in DMA mode. The hard drive properties panel will appear:

Click on the Settings tab.

Check the DMA checkbox, and click OK.

You will then be returned to the device list. Click OK.

Click Yes to reboot.

When the system restarts, the drive will now be running in DMA mode. To verify this repeat steps 1 - 6 and make sure that the DMA box is still checked. Click Cancel to back out of the hard drive Properties panel.

Jap. Hab ich (Windows XP oder 2000 ließen sich gar nicht erst installieren   :-\)

Ich test grad mal deinen vorschlag

Ist zwar jetzt umgestellt auf DMA aber der konflik ist weiterhin da und istallieren läßt sich auch nix  :(

Das ist eigentlich falls die Festplatte langsam ist, aber kann ja nicht schaden.
