Ich finde es einfach faszinierend was man mit W100 alles spielen kann.
Und es kommen noch einige Settings hinzu.

Auch fand ich es erstaunlich, dass verschiedene Quellenbücher welche auf den ersten Blick das selben Setting bedienen sich doch dramatisch unterscheiden:
"Mythic Rome" (Republik) / "Cthulhu Invictus" (Kaiserreich)  bzw.  "Land of Ninja" (Tokugawa Epoche) / "Land of the Samurai" (Heian Periode)

(Fast) keines dieser Bücher wurde durch ein anderes Buch des selben Themas ersetzt, sondern sie ergänzen sich eher noch.
Und das wird ja so weitergehen: Das Constantinopel-Buch von Chaosium wird um 950 angesiedelt sein, dass von The Design Mechanism spielt 1450; keine Überschneidungen. :-)

Auch wenn wir hier CALL OF CTHULHU, obwohl es ein W100/BRP-Spiel ist, hier normalerweise nicht behandeln hier ein Sonderfall:

Im November 2022 wurde ein neues Setting / ein neues Zeitrahmen für Cthulhu veröffentlich:

Regency Cthulhu - Dark Designs in Jane Austens England, welches in den 1810er Jahren spielt, bietet das allvertraute Cthulhu in neuem zeitlichen und gesellschaftlichen Rahmen. Das Setting-Buch enthält auch zwei Abenteuer.

Im Miskatonic Repository, dem Gemeinschaftsprogramm auf DrivethruRPG für Cthulhu-Fan-Veröffentlichungen erschien ebenfalls im November 2022 bereits
Host and Hostility (Regency Cthulhu Abenteuerband), welches drei weitere Abenteuer liefert.

Paolo Guccione von Alephtar Games, ehemaliger Herausgeber von BRP-Supplements und dem "Revolution D100"-Rollenspiel hat soeben das folgende verkündet:

"Crusaders of the Amber Coast is in production for the ORC edition of BRP, and that I have a new manuscript for Tian Xia - the Celastial Empire 99% ready, which will enter production soon. Wind on the Steppes will probably follow."

Damit werden drei gesuchte historische BRP-Settings in Kürze wieder erhältlich sein.
