Tja da kommt ja Einiges an Büchern dieses Jahr aber bei einigen Titeln frag ich mich echt ob die Wizards nichts Besseres zutun haben als altes Material neu aufzumachen.

D&D Core Rulebook Gift Set - September - $89.95 * 966480000 -- A first-ever boxed set of the three essential titles D&D RPG. This slip-covered gift set contains the three recently revised core rulebooks that are the foundation for the entire D&D RPG: (lists the core books). This is the first time in nearly 30-year history of the D&D game that this type of boxed set has been available. The slipcase will feature original art.

d20 Menace Manual - September - 224 pgs * HC * 34.95 * 177610000 - Written by JD Wiker, Eric Cagle, Matthew Sternett -- The ultimate guide to monsters, villains, and other adversaries for the d20 Modern RPG. Designed for use with the d20 Modern RPG, the d20 Menace Manual presents a host of villains, monsters and other adversaries to pit against the heroes in any modern RPG. It contains extensive real-world information, including information about existing organizations such as the CIA and write-ups of well-known mythical creatures such as the yeti and sasquatch. Adversaries for all levels of play are available, as are various allies, and there is extensive information on organization and factions that heroes can either join or combat.

D&D Miniatures Handbook - September - 192 pgs * HC * 29.95 * 965820000 - Written by Jonathan Tweet, Bruce R. Cordell -- A brand new D&D handbook that details all aspects of miniatures use in roleplaying and head-to-head combat. The Miniatures Handbook is the newest accessory for players who want to add depth and dimension to their roleplaying game or their miniatures experience. As with other D&D accessories, this title contains new feats, spells, magic items, and prestige classes, and is one of the few titles that adds new base classes to the D&D realm. In addition to these features, this handbook gives expanded rules for three-dimensional, head-to-head miniatures play for both skirmish and mass battle conflicts and is instantly usable with the new D&D miniatures product line, There are new monsters presented with both full D&D and head-to-head statistics, and the book provides competitive scenarios for engaging miniatures combat.

D&D Miniatures Entry Pack - September - Box * 19.99 * 965810000 -- The D&D Miniatures Entry Pack provides all the starting materials a player needs to become familiar with the brand-new D&D miniatures product line. The miniatures in this product are randomized and playable right out of the box. All the figures are drawn directly from the character classes and monsters described in the three D&D core rulebooks. D&D miniatures can be used to add three-dimensional definition to any roleplaying game campaign, and they can also be used to play skirmish and mass-battle combat scenarios.
Entry Pack Components:

- 16 randomized miniatures with statistic cards

- a complete basic rulebook

- a d20

- a checklist for the miniatures set

- terrain mapsheet and cards

Details on the new D&D miniatures line:

- Miniatures are pre-painted plastic and range from 40mm and 65mm in height. [Note - this is a typo in the catalogue; the miniatures are actually 28mm. See here for details.]

- There are 80 unique miniatures in the first set release.

- All miniatures packages are randomized and are made up of rare, uncommon, and common miniatures.

- All miniatures in the product line will be drawn directly from the D&D RPG rulebooks and accessory books.
D&D Miniatures Harbinger Expansion Pack - September - Box * 9.99 * 965800000 -- The Harbinger Expansion Packs contain a randomized selection of figures designed to expand any collection of D&D miniatures. Composed of the same randomized miniatures found in the Entry Pack, the figures in the Harbinger set are monsters described in the three D&D core rulebooks. Playable right out of the box, D&D miniatures can be used to add three-dimensional definition to any roleplaying game campaign, and they can also be used to play skirmish and mass-battle combat scenarios. Each box contains 8 randomized miniatures with statistic cards.

Book of Exalted Deeds - October - 192 pgs * HC * 32.95 * 880260000 - Written by James Wyatt, Darrin Drader, Christopher Perkins -- The next mature title in the D&D line that allows players to explore the concept of truly heroic play. Book of Exalted Deeds is the second title in the line of D&D products specifically aimed at a mature audience. As the Book of Vile Darkness was a resource book on the most evil elements of campaign play, this title focuses instead on the availability of good resources and features in the D&D spectrum. There are tips and information for running heroic campaigns and characters, and the text is written to instruct and inspire players to take a broader view of their game as they engage in exalted or valiant activities. Consequently, the choice to become heroic and the consequences that accompany that choice are treated in a mature and sensitive manner. Additionally, this title will explore a wide range of exalted features specifically designed to enrich truly heroic play, including new feats, prestige classes, spells, races, and magic items.

Forgotten Realms: Underdark - October - 192 pgs * HC * 32.95 * 885810000 - Written by Bruce R. Cordell, Gwendolyn F.M. Kestrel, Jeff Quick -- Provides a detailed look at the lightless world under the surface of the Forgotten Realms campaign setting. This accessory provides a wealth of highly detailed information about on of the most popular Underdark race, the drow, in addition to multitudes of other below-ground species. In addition to regional feats, prestige classes, spells, monsters, and magic items, there is also background content on this area of the world, including extensive story content gathered from a multitude of Forgotten Realms products and articles. To aid DMs, the material for running a campaign is isolated in a single section of the book and includes adventure hooks.

Draconomicon: The Book of Dragons - November - 288 pgs * HC * 39.95 * 176680000 - Written by Andy Collins, James Wyatt, Skip Williams -- An art-filled sourcebook for all things draconic in the D&D world. This title takes a comprehensive look at the dragons of the D&D world from a variety of perspectives. It includes information on playing dragons and dragon-like creatures, how to run a dragon in a fight, and how to both fight dragons and work with them as allies. There are statistics on dragons of every type and at every age category, in addition to examples of lairs, hoards, and dragon minions. There are new rules, feats, spells, prestige classes, magic items, and other materials associated specifically with interaction with dragons. The book itself will be designed in a prestige format, with heavy use of art throughout and constructed of premium materials. This book is intended to provide the basis for every dragon played in D&D from this point forward, making it an essential tool for both DM and player.

D&D Miniatures Dragoneye Expansion Pack - November - Box * 9.99 * 965830000 - The Dragoneye Expansion Packs contain a randomized selection of figures designed to expand any collection of D&D miniatures. The Dragoneye set is the first set of new miniatures since the initial product line launch of the Entry Pack and Harbinger Expansion Pack in Sept. 2003. The randomized figures in this set are drawn not only from the character classes and monsters described in the three core rulebooks but from other D&D products released around the same time, such as Draconomicon, Complete Warrior and the Dragonlance Campaign Setting (08/03). This set also features multiple dragon figures of varying sizes. Each box contains 8 randomized miniatures with statistic cards

Complete Warrior - December - 160 pgs * HC * 26.95 * 176640000 - Written by Andy Collins, David Noonan, Ed Stark -- The most detailed D&D sourcebook on combat ever released. Complete Warrior provides D&D players with an in-depth look at combat and provides detailed information on how to prepare a character for confrontation. This title was not only compiled from various D&D sources, but contains new features as well, including new battle-oriented classes, combat maneuvers, feats, and equipment. The prestige classes included have been revised and updated based on player feedback, and there are rules for unusual combat situations. The tips and data provided will assist all class types including those classes not typically associated with melee combat. 75% of the material in this title is entirely new and has never been previously released. The previously published information in this title was compiled from various D&D class books, campaign setting products, and Dragon magazine.

We have received confirmation from Shaw Cote of Wizards of the Coast on the Forgotten Realms Players Guide previously reported. The FRPG is slated for 2004 release and will update the Realms for 3.5. We've also been told more information on this product and other 3.5 updates for products will be available after the July release of D&D 3.5."

Fast forward ?

"The purpose of this booklet is not to provide a comprehensive list of everything that has changed with the 3.5 revision."

Arge Befürchtungen? Zurecht!
