Auf BGG hat sich jemand echt viel Mühe gemacht und das Interview verschriftlicht
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2250474/summary-twist-gaming-interview-now-including-15-miGambler Chest has as many sprues as the core box, now.
It will include storage for the GC stuff.
There are current 10 philosophies, maybe more.
Philosophies are tied to campaigns and wanderers.
Poots is hoping to make future Whiteboxes Wanderers, instead of small bits of content.
Poots is super excited about CoD. He says it's coming out awesome and it's adding a meaningful layer to having multiple campaigns over and over.
You pick a campaign, first
You pick a Node 1 monster, then a Node 2, but strain cards can give different monsters(Vignette-style, basically. The example Poots gives is of an aggro-antelope that gives less resources and is more aggressive.)
He wants to make the process of picking a campaign more systematic and fun.
Suggestion is to use any straincards you just unlocked.
Dung Bettle Baron is NOT confirmed as The Old Master. He's just "we'll find out if he's the same".
Infant Sunstalker: You hit your node 2 and you flip over the infant sunstalker. Now this means you can have the sunstalker that can be hunted sooner because it's weaker.
Infant Sunstalker is "Similar to the Vignette" for how the AI deck is set up.
Vocal Spidicules: Adam suggests that if a campaign concludes with a living Spider-ball the survivors just kinda leave it behind. So a new group may find the spidicules and set up their settlement there. "In this particular exploration, it's called vocal spidicules because as it grows with the settlement it learns their language. In year 20 when it finally figures out how to be mobile against it finally gets its chance for revenge. This is a surprise for everyone that sees it as a strange but endearing part of their culture."
The King: Adam isn't sure if he's going to use the old king-work in bringing it into the Gambler's Chest.
Adam refers to the Hand as an Entity.
God-cards are just a bit larger than basic cards. "A little bit wider and a little bit wider."
Encounter system uses smaller-than-basic cards. (Fuck sleeve-buyers, I guess. 🤣)
When Knowledge cards rank up they replace themselves with the next one. Some knowledge cards start strong and get worse as you go.
New hunt-tables in the new areas.
Unclear if we get new showdown boards, as of now, with them.
Interviewer asks Adam if the hope is to have things out by Gencon 2020, Adam responds with, paraphrased, "That would be delaying things by six months because production really takes about six months to get through but my ambition would be yes, but we have to take it at like 90 days at a time."
Atnas at Gencon was the plastic production version.
Adam isn't interested in a digital version of Kingdom Death: Monster, and officially he has no idea how anyone would play it online. 🤣 Adam doesn't really want to give his creative control up to let someone else make a digital version of it. Or at least he doesn't know if he could trust someone to do it.
Satan Campaign: Ivory Dragon(which is amazing and way too large, because it's nearly too big to play with)... It's an Entity that split itself into two. "If it can split itself into two, why can't it split itself into many?", Adam asked himself. And what does the Ivory Dragon really eat? He's not really giving a good explanation of it.
"Can strain fighting arts be used on sculptor?", Adam confirms that yes.
Man Hunter is from the Holy Lands.
Gencon stuff's gonna be on the webstore.
They'll have more prints in the webstore, possibly signed by Lokman.
Sale may go online in less than "a couple of weeks".
Adam hired someone he can delegate to to ease business burdens.
"A lot of" plastic production for Wave 3 is done. Crimson Croc isn't finished and made in plastic yet, same for parts of Campaigns of Death.
Titan Bee: Adam says it's looking awesome. He loves it for the visuals, and calls it adorable. It's gotten "a little bit" of development. His focus is Wave 3. He's pushing stuff he wants to work on off, so he can do the shit he needs to do.
5 year campaigns: Grindhouse starts at the beginning and is a souped up campaign, the other one starts in the middle and has a story that ends.
Gambler's Chest campaign has a set-list of monsters to fight, and contains a "light" version of the strain system.
Cooking is part of the pattern system.
"Pattern system is when setting up your campaign with the strain system, the last thing you do is go through the synergy deck and it will say oh you have a lion knight and a dung beetle knight then add This or That to your campaign."
White Lion and Crimson Croc are the only ones with a Prologue. Campaigns of Death MIGHT give the Gorm a prologue, but Adam's not sure.
Adam likes Campaigns of Death a LOT
Someone asked about New Principles... Adam refused to reveal whether there were or not.
Adam prefers ketchup on his fries.
Adam's last paraphrased and summarized words, "Thank you for playing the game and supporting up and having patience with me and my team. Continue enjoying it. I know there can be a lot of pressure when the sales go up. We continue to try to meet the demand and expectations without sacrificing the quality we want to maintain."
